On the Menu: Sangria

 Oh do we ever have a summer treat for you! Our sangria is made from fresh-squeezed, organic fruit and is 100% not from concentrate. It contains red wine (we also have a white wine version) and triple sec. We then add orange juice and pomegranate syrup, which we make in-house, a splash of Seven and some soda. It's then sprinkled with cinnamon and garnished with slices of fresh cut fruit. The end result is a delicious drink that's too sweet and has a pleasant citrus kick. Perfect summer drink? We'd like to think so.

On the Menu: Grilled Octopus

  The next time you find yourself at Nuba in Kitsilano, be sure to order our grilled octopus dish. Our octopus is, of course, Oceanwise, and is marinated then grilled to perfection. It comes with a flavourful potato and apple salad that has a rustic, roasted red pepper and tomato Romescu sauce. It tastes as good as it looks and will have you wishing you had eight arms so you can devour this delicious cephelapod dish faster.

 Following your meal, why not indulge in a piece of our homemade chocolate quinoa cake? Baked fresh in-house, this after dinner treat is gluten-free—we actually grind the quinoa ourselves to make the flour. It isn't too sweet, gets lightly dusted with icing sugar, and comes topped with sorbet—which we make with our organic, fresh-squeezed juices. And that sprig of mint you see on the sorbet actually came from the herb garden at our Kitsilano location. Dessert your inhibitions and try a piece today!
